The 4th VIPER (VIbroacoustics of PERiodic media) School on Composite Structures and Manufacturing and Auxetic Composites and Systems will be held at the University of Bristol. These sessions are open to the public and VIPER members. ALL attendees are required to register and a small registration fee is required for non-members, see details at: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/engineering/school-came/4th-viper-school/. The VIPER Partners meeting on the 18th is closed to the public.
Composites Structures and manufacturing is integral to the latest academic research in Vibroacoustics of Periodic media applied to composite materials and structures and is the first of the two workshops that form the 4th VIPER School.
VIPER has a multi-disciplinary character, coupling expertise from material science, vibration and acoustics as well as applied mathematics and can address the challenges in the transportation sector (aeronautics and space, automobile), energy and civil engineering sectors, where vibroacoustic integrity and comfort are crucial issues.
